Main research and application | Many studies have shown that schisandrone has a good effect on the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD), and neuronal extracellular β-amyloid protein (Aβ) Deposition, forming the center of senile plaques (SPs), causing neuronal damage, is an important neuropathological feature of Alzheimer's disease (AD). through experiments, it can be found that schisandrin and Aβ treated with "aging" for 3 days jointly act on rat hippocampal neurons for 48 h, and then use dual-wavelength fluorescent indicator Fura-2/AM to determine, it is found that neuron [Ca2] I is significantly lower than that of neuron cells treated with Aβ alone, the results showed that schisandrin had a certain blocking effect on the increase of intracellular Ca2 + induced by Aβ, and had a certain protective effect on the oxidative damage of neuronal cells caused by β-AP. Therefore, schisandrone is a potential new drug for the treatment of AD. |
